Accessibility Statement

What this statement covers

This statement details the accessibility status of ilnsprojects.com, the marketing website of I.L.N.S. Projects Ltd., a renovation and finishing company. The site provides information about the company's services and lets you contact the owner.

This statement is issued under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

Current accessibility level

As of the date of this statement, the site meets part of the WCAG 2.1 level AA requirements. We are working to complete the remaining requirements and intend to reach full compliance within six months of this statement.

What is already accessible

• The site has a dedicated accessibility toolbar (on every page) that lets you increase and decrease the font size, high contrast, inverted contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font, a large cursor and stopping animations. The settings are saved in the browser and stay active as you move between pages
• The site is offered in five languages; this version reads left-to-right (LTR), while the Hebrew original is right-to-left (RTL)
• The site can be navigated using the keyboard only, without a mouse
• All images on the site have alternative text (alt text) for screen readers
• The contact form fields are linked to explicit labels
• A "skip to content" link at the top of every page bypasses the navigation
• The heading structure on every page is hierarchical and sequential (H1, H2, H3)
• Navigation controls are marked with the appropriate role and aria-label
• The site adapts to a range of screen sizes and devices (responsive design)
• Animations respect the operating system's "Reduce Motion" setting

What is not perfect yet

• Some of the small SVG icons lack descriptions for screen readers, being addressed
• The video mute button needs an improved accessibility description, being addressed
• Captions for the homepage video, planned

What we plan to do

We continue to improve the site's accessibility. We intend to add captions to the homepage video, complete screen-reader descriptions for all icons, and carry out a professional accessibility audit by a certified accessibility expert, in order to fully verify compliance with the Israeli standard.
