Accessibility Statement

What this statement covers

This statement describes the current state of accessibility of ilnsprojects.com, the website of I.L.N.S. Projects Ltd., a renovation and finishing company. The site is intended to provide information about our work and to allow visitors to contact us.

This statement is issued under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility level

The site meets the requirements of Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA. In building it, we also drew on the more recent WCAG 2.1 guidelines. The site has been checked using automated testing tools and manual testing. If you still come across something that doesn't work as it should, please tell us and we'll fix it.

What we've done to make the site accessible

• An accessibility toolbar on every page, offering larger and smaller text, high contrast, inverted contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, a readable font, a big cursor and an option to stop animations. The settings are saved in the browser and stay active as you move between pages.
• This version of the site is in English and is set to read left to right.
• The entire site can be navigated with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is clearly indicated.
• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
• All images have alternative text. For the screenshots of client messages, the alternative text includes the full wording of the message.
• The photo slideshow at the top of the home page has a pause and play button, as well as a button for each photo. It stops automatically when you switch to another tab, when your device is set to reduce motion, or when you choose "Stop animations" in the accessibility toolbar. The caption of each photo is read out to screen readers.
• The sideways-scrolling project gallery can be controlled with both arrow buttons and the keyboard.
• The service area map is accompanied by a written list of all the cities, so the information is available without viewing the map.
• Form fields are linked to clear labels. Error messages appear as text next to the field, and focus moves to the first field that needs correcting.
• A hierarchical, sequential heading structure, and appropriate roles and descriptions for navigation elements.
• Contrast ratios between text and background meet the level AA requirement.
• The site adapts to screens of all sizes, from mobile phones to desktop computers.
• Animations respect the operating system's reduced motion setting.

Content with an accessible alternative

The WhatsApp testimonials are shown as screenshots, to preserve their authenticity. The full wording of each message is available to screen readers in the alternative text, and you can also get it by contacting us by phone or email.

Browsers and assistive technology

The site was built to work in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile. Using a different combination and having difficulty? Contact us and we'll help you directly.
